How are you as a consumer shopping for your auto and home insurance?  What is important to you as an insurance consumer when purchasing your auto and home (personal lines) insurance?  Is it the fact that you can go to your agent’s website and request a quote for the plan you want?  Or, would you prefer to speak with a live agent or representative?

In a recent article it stated that young consumers in their 20’s and 30’s prefer to do their personal insurance shopping online by filling out quote informational forms and comparing the best rates by according to the quotes they receive.  However, what is interesting the millennial generation wants human contact as well.  They want to be courted by their agents and have their agents call them to check up on their satisfaction with their plan.  When any person has a claim they want to speak to their agent in order to be assured that their carrier will resolve their problem and listen to them when they are experiencing a crisis.

The way that people obtain their insurance is changing and agencies must change as well.  Such as including online quote forms and provide their customers with electronic competitive quotes.  But one thing that remains the same is insurance customers want to feel like they are cared for and thought of once they become a customer.  Loyalty had not completely disappeared.  Etler-Kettenacker Agency has evolved.  They offer online quote forms and electronic responses with competitive quotes.  What EK Agency has not changed is making their customer’s a priority in any situation.  They offer advice on how to save money when purchasing insurance and are there for their customers when they need them most.
